Introduction

Inside the church Intersection Vathorst played for a while the idea of ​​a magazine to. Because the church has grown and is divided, a magazine unifying work. Through interviews and portraits were parishioners for example more about each other can learn. These items we wanted to vary with opinion, columns and reviews. For budgetary reasons we were first with the choice of the frequency and format to determine. We opted for a full color and beautifully designed magazine, even though it was at the expense of the quantity of magazines, which we were able to release a year. It is easier to keep filling the blade when the frequency is not too high and we think a nice formatted magazine better read than a sober journal. My main job was to make the magazine and an attractive layout to provide.

Logo

We wanted a new logo so that the magazine would have its own character. At church logos often cross back, maar bij het ontwerp heb ik geprobeerd om ‘kruispunt’ at a slightly different way to approach. De vier rechthoekige tegels vormen samen de letter ‘k’, while they also come together in a central point. Magazine

With the design of magazines, I had no experience so I am going to read first. Typography example was very important to. I also have lots of magazines to browse through the design study.
